Dhenshang Chacha · Red Dzambhala Tibetan Lama Po
$194.99
- Name: Known in Tibetan as "Dzambhala Marpo," where "Marpo" means red, hence "Red Jambhala."
-
Appearance: One face and two arms, with a copper-red/coral-red body, displaying a joyful yet powerful expression;
- The right hand holds a Mani jewel (wish-fulfilling jewel), while the left hand cradles a treasure-spewing mongoose;
- In some lineages, the Red Jambhala is depicted in Yab-Yum form—embracing a red consort (Dakini), symbolizing the "union of method and wisdom," making him a uniquely styled figure among the five Jambhalas;
- He wears a jeweled crown and ornaments, seated upon a lotus and moon disc.
- Origin: Generally considered an emanation of Amitabha Buddha (Lotus Family); some traditions also associate him with Hayagriva and other deities of the Lotus Family.
Red Jambhala governs "enchantment" (attracting and gathering):
- He primarily governs the attraction of social connections, networks, companions, and resources, causing sentient beings to naturally gravitate toward one and be inclined to generosity, thereby bringing wealth through interpersonal connections;
- Due to the "compassionate attraction" quality derived from the Lotus Family, the practice of Red Jambhala is also frequently linked to improving interpersonal relationships and increasing personal charisma and influence.
